주택 밀집 지역에 위치한 본 대지는 입지적 제약을 수동적으로 수용하지 않고, 전면과 후면에 개방형 공간을 배치하여 일반 동선을 유입하고 출입구의 인지성을 개선한다. 지상층 편의 공간은 외부 오픈스페이스와 연계되어 조경과 휴식을 포괄하며, 특정 사용자에 한정되지 않는 일상의 쉼터로 기능한다. 본네프 요철 포장은 차량의 속도를 자연스럽게 제어하고 보행 중심의 안전한 환경을 형성한다.
8미터 베이를 기본 단위로 한 철근콘크리트 구조는 지하 주차 효율을 높이는 동시에 상부 프로그램의 유연성을 확보한다. 절토를 최소화한 계획은 지형을 존중하며 지속가능성과 시공의 합리성을 동시에 담는다.
중첩된 매싱 속에서 각 프로그램은 독립성을 유지하면서도 교류의 가능성을 공유한다. 상이한 목적을 지닌 두 시설은 외부 완충 공간을 매개로 관계를 맺으며 건축적 중첩을 완성한다.
요양원에 계획된 중정과 테라스, 옥상 정원은 서로 다른 빛과 바람을 담는 외부 공간이다. 충분한 채광과 조망은 기억과 감각을 환기하며 일상에 리듬을 더한다. 입소자는 보호된 외부 환경 속에서 자신의 뒷마당과도 같은 친밀함을 느끼며 휴식과 사색을 누린다.

Situated within a dense residential fabric, the project engages its constraints as operative conditions rather than limits. Open spaces at the front and rear enhance urban permeability while clarifying the threshold. Ground-level amenities extend the public realm, integrating landscape and repose into an inclusive civic ground. The application of Woonerf principles through calibrated surface articulation moderates vehicular speed and reasserts pedestrian movement as the primary spatial order.
An eight-meter reinforced concrete grid optimizes subterranean parking while providing a robust framework for programmatic flexibility above. By minimizing excavation, the proposal preserves topographical continuity and embeds environmental responsibility within constructional pragmatics.
Within the interlocking massing, each program maintains autonomy while engaging in calibrated spatial dialogue. The two institutions are mediated by an exterior buffer zone that negotiates adjacency and transforms proximity into architectural reciprocity.
The courtyard, terraces, and rooftop garden form layered exterior environments shaped by light and air. Daylight and framed views subtly reactivate memory and restore rhythm to daily life. Within these sheltered spaces, residents encounter a familiarity akin to a private backyard—an intimate setting for rest and contemplation.
