건축은 물리적 구축을 넘어, 감각적 경험을 조직하는 매개이다.
본 프로젝트는 건축을 인지 전반에 작용하는 장치로 설정하여, 비물질적 현상을 공간적 경험으로 전환한다.
빛으로 포화된 유리 기둥과 포디움은 구조의 물리적 중량감을 인식에서 소거하고, 질량을 ‘가벼움’으로 치환한다.
이들은 고유의 물성을 드러내기보다 빛을 통해 작동하며, 스스로 하나의 공간적 조건이 된다.
빛의 파동적 속성은 내부로 확산되며 공간을 조직하는 질서로 전이된다.
이 과정에서 비물질적 현상은 비로소 물질적 형식을 획득하고, 건축은 연속적인 감각의 인터페이스가 된다.
Space of Senses
Architecture transcends mere physical construction; it operates as a medium that structures sensory experience.
This project frames architecture as a cognitive device, translating immaterial phenomena into spatial form.
Saturated with light, the glass columns and podium dissolve the perceived weight of the structure, reconstituting mass as ‘lightness.’
Rather than asserting their material presence, they operate through light, becoming spatial conditions in themselves.
The wave-like behavior of light diffuses into the interior, transforming into an ordering principle of space.
Through this process, immaterial phenomena take on material form, and architecture emerges as a continuous sensory interface.
