浮遊의 風景
본 작업은 자연의 유기적 지형을 데이터로 치환하고, 이를 건축적·인공적 매개를 통해 다시 공간으로 번역한 설치 작업이다. 무수한 투명 수직 요소들은 3차원 공간에 맵핑된 데이터 픽셀처럼 정교한 그리드 위에 배열되어, 대지의 불규칙하고 역동적인 굴곡을 기하학적 파동으로 재구성한다. 허공에 부유하듯 형성된 상부의 연속적 곡면은 추상화된 자연의 등고를 드러내고, 그 아래에는 이끼와 암석으로 이루어진 비가공의 생태계를 배치하여 강한 물성적 대비를 형성한다. 이때 형태는 고정된 조형이 아닌, 데이터, 환경, 그리고 그 사이의 관계가 응축된 결과이다
투명한 재료와 빛의 상호작용은 구조에 비물질적 차원을 부여한다. 빛을 흡수하고 투과하며 반사하는 수직 요소들은 주변 환경의 변화를 내부로 끌어들이고, 밀도와 높이의 미세한 차이를 통해 비가시적 흐름을 가시화한다. 상부의 가상 지형과 하부의 실제 지형은 촘촘한 빛의 궤적으로 연결되며, 자연과 인공, 물질과 비물질 사이의 경계를 재구성한다. 이 과정에서 건축은 단순한 형상 이상으로, 조건과 상호작용을 조직하는 매개이며, 관람자로 하여금 물리적 대상이 아닌 ‘관계’와 ‘장(field)’을 경험하게 하는 장치가 된다.

Levitating Landscape
This installation translates the organic terrain of nature into data and reinterprets it spatially through an architectural and artificial medium. Countless transparent vertical elements are arranged on a precise grid like data pixels mapped in three-dimensional space, reconstructing the irregular and dynamic undulations of the ground into geometric waves. The continuous curved surface hovering above reveals an abstracted topography, while beneath it a raw ecosystem of moss and stone is positioned to create a striking material contrast. Here, form is not a fixed object but a condensation of relationships between data, environment, and the space in between.
The interaction between transparent material and light introduces an immaterial dimension to the structure. The vertical elements absorb, transmit, and reflect light, drawing environmental changes into the interior and visualizing invisible flows through subtle variations in density and height. The virtual terrain above and the physical ground below are connected through dense trajectories of light, reconfiguring the boundaries between nature and artifice, material and immaterial. In this process, architecture operates not merely as form, but as a medium that organizes conditions and interactions, enabling the viewer to experience not a physical object, but a field of relationships.
